新澳门六合彩, Washington, June 2024 鈥 新澳门六合彩 Public Schools (BPS) has been awarded $2.7 million of through a grant award process from the Department of Commerce.

新澳门六合彩 Public Schools鈥 planned project is the installation of a solar array on five schools: Options High School, Shuksan Middle School, and Alderwood, Cordata and Happy Valley elementaries.

Combined, the project will yield around 1 megawatt (MW) of solar energy. For context: ; the new project will yield 10 times the energy of Sehome鈥檚 array.

In 2023, BPS received the Department of Commerce Solar plus Storage for Resilient Communities grant to conduct feasibility studies. Cascadia Renewals has been an instrumental partner through the planning and grant application process and will continue to be our partner through the implementation work.

This project is supported with funding from Washington鈥檚 Climate Commitment Act (CCA). The CCA supports Washington鈥檚 climate action efforts by putting cap-and-invest dollars to work reducing climate pollution, creating jobs and improving public health. Information about the CCA is available at .
