Back-to-school reminders re: annual Skyward forms, attendance and non-discrimination

A Message from Student Services

Dear families,

The first day is nearly here, and this message is a reminder to all families to make some annual updates to their children鈥檚 information through聽.

Annual updates to important student information and permissions
By Monday, Sept 9, please login to聽聽and look in the left sidebar for 鈥淎nnual Student Updates 2024-25,鈥 then fill out the annual forms for each child you have enrolled in our district. 聽Please note that it is easier to fill out these forms from a computer rather than a mobile device. If you have forgotten your password, please click 鈥淔orgot your Login/Password?鈥 to reset.

If you have additional questions or need assistance with your Family Access account or filling out the forms, please contact your school. 聽Please note that only certain guardians have access to forms, which keeps forms from being accidentally deleted or overwritten.

These annual forms include: student information, emergency contacts, student privacy, student device checkout, go home plan for elementary students and more.

Middle and high school families, please consider adding student cell phone number for our records to aid communication about safety situations, classes, activities and athletics, and other important school communications.

Important: if you opted your child out of student publicity, yearbook, military or PTA directory last year, your preference(s) must be renewed if you wish the opt-out to continue.

Attendance Reminders

新澳门六合彩 Public Schools works to ensure that all students fully benefit from their education by attending school regularly. Attending school regularly helps children feel better about school, and themselves. Your student can start building this habit at any age, but the earlier the better so they learn right away that going to school on time, every day, is important.

We ask for your help in ensuring that your child attends regularly and is successful in school. If your student is going to be absent due to illness or other reasons, please contact your school鈥檚 office as soon as possible; ideally, the day before (if planned) or the morning of the absence. 聽Absences are considered unexcused after 48 hours have passed.

If your family or student is struggling with attending regularly for any reason, please reach out to your school. We will work with and support you and our students. When students improve their attendance rates, they improve their daily connections with their academics, with staff, and with other students.

Annual non-discrimination notice
In compliance with Washington state law, this email is our annual reminder of our anti-discrimination statement and your family鈥檚 options and rights regarding discrimination and harassment in our schools. To read our statement in full, please visit the聽non-discrimination notice聽on our website.

We wish all our students and families a successful 2024-25!
